Made of stainless steel, the Metro C589-SDC-UPDS insulated mobile heated cabinet is durable and resistant to rusting and corroding. Full-perimeter, high-density fiberglass insulation reduces heat loss, and doors positioned on either side enable pass-thru operation. To further retain heat, one side is solid, while the other is made of double-pane tempered glass to promote interior visibility. Equipped with 5-inch casters, this unit can be rolled through a catering hall to streamline foodservice.

The Metro C589-SDC-UPDS full-height heated cabinet utilizes a ducted heating system that reduces recovery times and provides rapid heat up. The temperature can be adjusted within the range of 70 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, and if the temperature drops too low, an alarm notifies nearby employees. Adjustable in ¹/₂-inch increments, the universal wire slides hold (17) 18-inch by 26-inch or (32) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch food pans.
