The Metro C599-SDC-L heated cabinet is a full-height unit with double-paneled tempered glass Dutch doors through which users can access the interior. It's furnished with extruded aluminum lip-load slides and accommodates (34) 18-inch by 26-inch pans. To optimize product quality by preserving heat, it's insulated with high-density fiberglass, and it measures 30 inches wide by 36³/₈ inches deep by 74³/₄ inches high overall.

To provide long-term rust and corrosion resistance as well as streamline cleaning, the Metro C599-SDC-L holding cabinet is made of rugged stainless steel. It features high-temperature Santoprene gaskets and a high-strength magnetic pull latch with a lever-action release to create a secure seal. Designed for mobility, this unit is furnished with 5-inch casters, and to protect nearby equipment and furniture during transit, it features a non-marking polymer bumper. Operators can use intuitive touchscreen controls to adjust the temperature from 90 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
