The Metro C5T8-DSL insulated heated cabinet is great for heavy use because it's constructed of stainless steel with a solid, single-piece bottom mounted on casters. It features lip-load slides adjustable by 1¹⁷/₂₅-inch increments to accommodate as many as (14) 18-inch by 26-inch or (26) 12-inch by 20-inch by 2¹/₂-inch food pans.

The Metro C5T8-DSL mobile heated cabinet is insulated with thick, CFC-free polyurethane that can retain heat for hours between kitchen and service. While it's plugged in and heating, the digital thermostatic controls can be used by operators to select a temperature between 70 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit and an operating range with upper and lower limits. If the cabinet's temperature should remain outside those limits for more than five minutes, an alarm will notify staff. It also has a battery-powered fan that runs while the cabinet is being transported to preserve food quality and prevent cold spots.
