Each shelf has a correlating heat and light control so foods with differing holding requirements can be stored in the same cabinet. Foiled rope elements heat below the shelves, while top-mounted strip heaters direct warm air from above; together, these heating components eliminate cold spots that could impact food quality.

For medium-volume holding applications, the Nemco 6480-24S heated shelf accommodates as many as (36) 4-inch-diameter sandwiches. This 24-inch-wide by 19³?₄-inch-deep by 27¹?₂-inch-high unit can be used on compact counters, and its doorless configuration lets employees insert fresh items into the back without disrupting shopping customers.
