The Star 606HF Star-Max? hotplate has six cast iron burners; this material heats slowly, but it retains heat well and evenly distributes it. Each of the cast iron burners has a standing pilot and manual control valve. Employees can control the burners with knobs, and their metal construction increases durability. Grates on this Star 606HF Star-Max hotplate are made of durable, long-lasting cast iron.

The Star 606HF hotplate has a heavy-duty aluminized steel construction with a corrosion-resistant stainless steel front panel. With a bullnose design, the front creates separation between hot components and the operator. Cleaning the unit is simple with a removable crumb tray, and users can reach underneath it to clean since it is elevated by 4-inch legs.
