Great for chilling seafood and salad on buffets, the Hoshizaki F-1002MLJ ice machine produces 1,028 pounds of flake ice in ideal surrounding conditions. This unit uses R404A refrigerant and works with a remote, air-cooled refrigeration system that must be purchased separately. To ensure a long lifespan with intensive use, its exterior is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

The Hoshizaki F-1002MLJ flaker ice maker is designed with an Advanced CleanCycle24™ feature that flushes the evaporator for 2 seconds every hour, ensuring clean ice. Improving sanitation, H-Guard Plus® coats the internal components to hinder the growth of bacteria. Its infrared bin sensor monitors ice production and stops the compressor to prevent ice from overflowing.
