The Hoshizaki F-450MAJ flake ice machine head is constructed from stainless steel for heavy-duty use in a commercial setting. It makes the unit easy to clean and resistant to corrosion. An infrared bin control makes cleaning easier and more reliable. A CleanCycle24™ design is a 2-second flush cycle that happens every hour to remove sediment so ice is cleaner. The stainless steel auger has greaseless bearings. The Hoshizaki F-450MAJ flake ice machine head produces up to 492 pounds of ice every 24 hours. Once the ice is produced, it falls into a storage bin. The flake ice that this unit produces is ideal for salad bars and produce displays at grocery stores or markets since it forms to whatever you set on it.
