Producing as much as 751 pounds of ice per day in optimized conditions, the Hoshizaki F-801MAJ flake ice machine is excellent for moderately sized healthcare, grocery, and catering applications. Flexible and moldable, flake ice can be packed into chilled buffets, grocery store produce displays, or ice packs for patients. Because this unit measures just 22 inches in width, it can be installed alongside another ice machine head for a dual setup. To ensure that the ice produced remains fresh and free of sediment, this unit automatically flushes once every hour.

The Hoshizaki F-801MAJ ice machine head is air cooled and has a self-contained condenser for user-friendly setup and operation. Finished in stainless steel, the unit's exterior provides a neat and tidy look with enhanced resistance to scratches and smudges. To improve its durability in high-volume environments, this machine's auger is made of stainless steel and operates with low-maintenance, greaseless bearings. This ice maker utilizes R404A refrigerant and, because it cools with air, it uses less water than similar water-cooled units require.
