The unit's condenser is air cooled, meaning a fan blows air over the coils to cool refrigerant as it moves away from the evaporator plate, freezing water to form cubes.

Cleaning and sanitizing this Ice-O-Matic CIM1136FA ice maker is simple since it has one-touch controls. When cleaning is needed, an LED indicator light illuminates to notify the operator.
