The Manitowoc Ice IDT0300W ice machine head uses an easyTouch™ display screen that is icon based to streamline use. For cleaning purposes, the foodzone's components are removable and it's coated with AlphaSan™ antimicrobial to slow the growth of bacteria and other microbes. Ice control is programmable to accommodate slow and fast hours, and it harvests with an acoustic probe and active sense controls.

Ensuring the unit operates correctly and efficiently, the Manitowoc Ice IDT0300W full-cube ice machine head performs diagnostics and maintenance 24 hours per day. It makes 305 pounds of ice daily when conditions are ideal; if ambient temperatures are too high, it creates closer to 258 pounds per day. The refrigeration system in this unit is water cooled and self-contained, streamlining installation, and it cools with R401a refrigerant.
