The Manitowoc Ice IYT0300A half-cube ice machine head has an air-cooled, self-contained refrigeration system to streamline installation and reduce the risk of cross contamination. It cools with R404a refrigerant and produces as much as 310 pounds of half-cube ice per day. When ambient heat is high, this unit makes closer to 230 pounds of ice daily. The ice production is programmable to accommodate for downtime.

To push ice into a bin that is sold separately, the Manitowoc Ice IYT0300A ice machine head uses an automatic, ice-sensing probe. Active sense ensures ice production is consistent, and to keep the system running smoothly for extended periods, this unit has a 24-hour maintenance and diagnostic feature. The foodzone is protected by AlphaSan™ antimicrobial to inhibit bacterial growth, and to resist corrosion, this unit has a DuraTech™ exterior.
