The Manitowoc Ice IYT0900W Indigo NXT™ ice maker head has easyTouch™ technology to handle operations, whether running diagnostics on an issue, programming after-hours inactivity, or just setting up how much ice to make in a day. Because the head is water cooled, water is piped into the condenser and cools the refrigerant rather than air. This setup involves more work and water than an air-cooled unit, but it saves in efficiency in the long run. When conditions are ideal, the head produces 722 pounds of ice in a 24-hour period.

A DuraTech™ exterior increases the ice machine's resistance to corrosion and helps to minimize smudge marks. Active Sense hardware and software paired with an acoustical ice sensing probe work to oversee ice production in the Manitowoc Ice IYT0900W, ensuring cube thickness is consistent. For streamlined cleaning and maintenance, essential components can be removed from the interior.
