Ideal for presenting seafood or produce, the Scotsman FS0822R-1 Prodigy Plus® ice maker head produces flake ice, which chills product quicker than other types of ice. When air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit produces as much as 760 pounds of ice in 24 hours. It uses a remote-cooled system and R-404A refrigerant to reach the necessary temperatures for proper ice production. The sealed refrigerant system reduces the risk of airborne contamination, while its sealed, maintenance-free bearings operate consistently with few preventive maintenance requirements.

AutoAlert® indicator lights located on the front of the Scotsman FS0822R-1 ice maker enable users to monitor and manage operational status. To hinder bacterial growth between standard cleanings, AgION® antimicrobial is molded into the key components, while a one-touch cleaning system reduces hands-on tasks to streamline operation. Its front-breathing design doesn't require a side clearance for flexible installation. Overall, this stainless steel unit measures 22 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 23 inches high and can be installed atop an ice storage bin (sold separately).
