This unit creates flake ice and operates with a water-cooled condenser that uses R404A refrigerant. To streamline installation and reduce the risk of cross contamination, the refrigeration system is self-contained. In ideal conditions, this unit makes 775 pounds of ice daily, though it creates closer to 654 pounds each day when temperatures are higher.

The Scotsman FS0822W-32 ice maker has a unit-specific QR code that can be scanned to reveal important information, such as warranty history and service manuals. It's protected with AgION® antimicrobial to slow the growth of germs and bacteria, and because this ice maker breathes from the front, it can be installed beside other units or against a wall. It has sealed bearings that require no maintenance to operate.
