Equipped with all the Prodigy Plus? series features, the Scotsman NH0922L-1 nugget ice machine head can produce as much as 889 pounds of H² nugget ice a day in ideal conditions. To streamline maintenance, the air filter is in the front and the head has a self-aligning front panel, providing improved access to its internal components. Its auger, exterior, and evaporator are all constructed of stainless steel for improved durability, and the sealed refrigeration system minimizes contamination from airborne particles. Antimicrobial materials are used to construct the food zone and slow the growth of mold.

To help diagnose malfunctions, the Scotsman NH0922L-1 ice machine head has a panel of AutoAlert? indicators that light up and provide increased visibility to operators while the unit-specific QR code enables users to swiftly gain access to warranty information, user manuals, and parts lists. The unit uses R-404A refrigerant, reducing its impact on the environment. Neither an ice bin nor a remote condenser are included with the machine head and must be purchased separately.
