Sealed, maintenance-free bearings are made with a self-lubricating polymer and eliminate the need for greasing, while a QR code on the front panel provides immediate access to user manuals, warranty information, and other unit documents. With a self-aligning front panel, access to the head's key components and diagnostic board is simplified, saving owners time when troubleshooting. The AutoAlert® LED indicator lights also help identify service needs, displaying when it's time to descale, clean, whether the unit has water, and other information indicated by different colored lights and easy-to-identify symbols.

With an exterior, auger, and evaporator all made of stainless steel, the Scotsman NH1322L-1 nugget ice machine head is built to deliver a long service life. Antimicrobial protection in the food zone slows the growth of mold between cleanings, and because the refrigeration system is self-contained, it's also protected from airborne contaminants.
