This single-head water filter cartridge provides ultra-fine 0.5 micron of filtration, and inhibits unwanted bacteria from entering the water system for improved sanitation. The gradient density carbon block filter is effective in contaminant reduction. Achieve 95% average chlorine reduction when using a premium filter, eliminating odors and improving the taste and clarity of ice. Scale Inhibitor, SLO PHOS slow dissolving phosphate additive prevents scaling and scale build up. This cartridge helps reduce sediments such as sand, rust and dirt from entering the ice machine to ensure optimum operation, reducing daily operation costs and maintenance expenses. The sturdy manifold is supplied with a water pressure gauge with a tattletale needle to track the water pressure's highs and lows.
