Perfect for schools and cafeterias, the True TMC-58-HC milk cooler can hold 16 standard milk crates, and it has a drop-front door and a top door that flips up, giving staff flexibility when stocking and serving. Its exterior features stainless steel and white vinyl, while the interior liner is constructed of clear-coated aluminum. Insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, the cabinet retains cold temperatures. Heavy-duty floor racks are included to protect the cooler from dents and scratches, and it is mounted on 4-inch-diameter swivel castors with two that lock in place for safety.

The forced-air refrigeration system maintains a selected temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which is maintained through a capillary tube system that controls the flow of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To ensure the temperature inside is ideal, it is displayed on an external digital display, and a consistent amount of air is moved throughout the cabinet with evaporator and condenser fan motors. When the unit's compressor turns on, the condensing fan motor automatically directs air in a reverse direction for 20 seconds. This helps eliminate collection of dirt and dust from the condensing coil's surface, enabling it to perform more efficiently, increasing the unit's lifespan. Despite this mechanism's effectiveness, it should not replace general maintenance practices. Accessible from the rear, the refrigeration system on this True TMC-58-HC milk cooler is convenient to service.
