The Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-5-S-LED open-air cooler item displays on three levels of a step shelf which can be removed when needed for cleaning. The unit is made of stainless steel with a heavy gauge steel super structure for durability and resistance to rust and corrosion. Each level's rear wall is perforated to allow air flow.

Though the Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-S-LED horizontal open refrigerator is equipped with a self-contained refrigeration system, users should note that it is not designed to cool products; it is designed to hold already-cold items and help them retain their low temperature. The bottom front grill is removable to provide access for cleaning and maintenance.
