The Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-6-S horizontal open-air merchandiser is constructed with a heavy-gauge super structure to ensure its ability to withstand heavy use; it features stainless steel paneling for a sleek appearance and to ensure longevity. This unit has three levels with perforated rear walls on each step to enable even airflow. A high-efficiency air screen flows over the top of the unit to maintain cool conditions and to deter pests. The sides are fitted with straight form plexiglass to increase visibility inside.

Positioned in the base of the Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-6-S Impulse open merchandiser is its self-contained refrigeration system, which works to maintain cool conditions from 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Users can set the desired temperature via the electronic controller. The automatic defrost system functions up to six times a day to prevent ice from developing on vital components. A night cover reduces energy consumption during off hours.
