Measuring 75 inches wide by 30 inches deep by 44 inches high, the Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-6C-B Impulse horizontal open-air cooler has a 108-cubic-foot interior with three levels and step shelves; each shelf measures 7 inches deep. The shelves, exterior, and interior are made of heavy-gauge steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The front grill and curved plexiglass sides are removable for cleaning, while the 1-inch front bumper provides user safety.

The Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-6C-B cooler's refrigeration system is self-contained to simplify installation, and the unit is equipped with a drain for establishments with plumping requirements. This cooler holds products within a temperature range between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, which is maintained by digital thermostatic controls, air screen technology, and low-velocity fans. To ensure energy efficiency and optimal performance, the non-CFC foam insulation and night cover works to retain temperatures, while the air defrost performs six cycles every day to prevent ice buildup.
