The Manitowoc LB0730 upright ice bin measures 30 inches wide by 44¹/₂ inches deep by 58 inches high and boasts a 23-cubic-foot interior capacity that can accommodate 683 pounds of ice. To accommodate most single ice machine configurations, this unit comes with an adapter and filler panels. While its exterior front and sides are made of welded, corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, its interior is roto-molded with seamless rust-resistant polyethylene liner to ease cleaning. Because its walls are foamed in place with non-CFS 1¹/₂-inch-thick polyurethane insulation, they slow ice melting in warm ambient settings. So the unit remains stable during ice production and retrieval, it rests on 6-inch stainless steel legs that can be extended to 7¹³/₁₀₀ inches to level on sloped or uneven surfaces.

The Manitowoc LB0730 ice bin features a first-in, first-out method that enhances sanitation and ensures fresh-tasting ice. To reduce the chance of overflow, it's built with a stainless steel baffle. While the clear Lexan viewing window provides a view of the ice bin levels, the heavy-duty, spring-load door hinge secures the door in an open position while users access the interior, eliminating the need to bend over and reach into the unit while retrieving ice. For reduced germ spread, this unit comes with an ergonomic NSF-sanitary scoop with a thumb and knuckle guard.
