The Continental D27N12M-FB-D Designer Line sandwich/salad preparation station is a refrigerated unit featuring a rear-mounted refrigeration system that works to bring the unit to the desired operating temperature. Staff must access the electronic controller and choose from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit. For safe and efficient operation, the system uses R290 refrigerant. The hot-gas evaporator reduces excess condensate, while the off-cycle defrost functions intermittently to prevent ice growth on vital components.

Designed to endure heavy use, the Continental D27N12M-FB-D front-breathing sandwich unit is constructed of stainless steel and features two roll-out drawers that are solid and fitted with a polished chrome handle. The top of the unit has 12 sixth-size pans to hold various ingredients. An insulated lid shields the product between use to prevent spoilage. The 8-inch cutting board runs along the length and is made of nylon for easy cleaning.
