The Continental D72N18-FB-D Designer Line sandwich/salad prep table is constructed of stainless steel with a nylon cutting board that measures 72 inches wide by 12 inches deep. Designed with top compartments that hold 18 sixth-size recessed pans, this unit enables convenient storage space for popular ingredients and products. The tub below the pans is removable when cleaning is needed. The 20.6-cubic-foot interior space is accessed using the six roll-out drawers, and each drawer is built with a chrome handle for a comfortable grip and magnetic snap-in gaskets for an airtight drawer seal. For smooth mobility between locations, this table sits on four 3³/₄-inch casters.

Featuring a temperature range from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit, the Continental D72N18-FB-D prep table operates with a self-contained refrigeration system that is back mounted, which keeps the cooling components out of the way of stored products. This system utilizes R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for cooling, while the refrigerated base's polyurethane foam insulation preserves cold temperatures. For reduced maintenance times and costs, the off-cycle defrost gets rid of ice development on coils and other components, and the hot gas condensate evaporator, through an automatic operation, eliminates excess water buildup. Along with the temperature settings, the defrost schedule is managed with the electronic controls.
