The Continental D72N18C-FB-D Designer Line sandwich/salad prep table's exterior and interior are constructed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance, ensuring a long service life. A 19-inch-deep cutting board sits on top and runs along the full length of the unit, and the two top compartments accommodate 18 sixth-size pans for ingredient storage. The tubs below the pans are removable when cleaning or replacement is needed. For transportation between locations, this unit comes with four 3³/₄-inch casters. Overall, this prep table measures 72 inches wide by 38¹/₄ inches deep by 41 inches high and features a 20.6-cubic-foot interior capacity.

The Continental D72N18C-FB-D prep table is digitally controlled to simplify temperature and defrost management, and the current temperature readout is available for viewing on the external LED display. Operators can set the holding temperature between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The refrigerated base is divided up between its six drawers, and each drawer seals with a magnetic gasket, ensuring fast recovery times. Along with the cabinet's polyurethane foam insulation, the self-contained refrigeration system's use of R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant keeps conditions at a food-safe level.
