Overall, the Continental D72N27M-D sandwich/salad prep table with a refrigerated base measures 72 inches wide and features six drawers. Inside, the 20.6-cubic-foot compartment holds two tiers of one half-size 6-inch-deep or one third-size 6-inch-deep pans per drawer. The unit's 2-inch-thick insulation works to maintain cold conditions. The front, top, end panels, and interior of the unit are made of stainless steel to resist corrosion while remaining durable. For food prep and display, this unit can hold (27) 4-inch pans and features a 8-inch cutting board.

Installation is simple with the Continental D72N27M-D salad prep table's self-contained refrigeration system. Though it's rear mounted to streamline simple service, the unit's defrost system provides preventative maintenance for the coils by reducing frost accumulation. The hot gas condensate evaporator collects and gets rid of accumulated moisture through operation. It has an adjustable temperature range from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit, which is controlled and monitored with electronic controls with a digital display.
