The Continental RA93N8-D refrigerated base sandwich unit is built for durable, high-performance food preparation in busy commercial kitchens. Its 300-gauge stainless steel worktop, stainless steel front and end panels, and galvanized steel rear and grill panels provide long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. The aluminum interior and 2-inch polyurethane foam insulation enhance thermal efficiency. This unit accommodates 8 sixth-size pans with insulated lids and features a 12-inch-deep, full-length nylon cutting board for streamlined ingredient preparation. Accessibility is enhanced with six stainless steel roll-out drawers and two small access doors above the compressor.
Featuring a side-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system, the Continental RA93N8-D preparation base uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for an eco-friendly and energy-efficient cooling solution. The forced-air cooling system and expansion valve ensure consistent refrigeration, while the automatic hot-gas condensate evaporator and corrosion-resistant plasticized fin evaporator coil reduce maintenance requirements. Internal electronic controls, accessible via the small access doors, enable precise temperature adjustments. Santoprene™ magnetic gaskets ensure a tight seal, and five-inch casters provide mobility and stability for repositioning and cleaning.
