The Continental SW48N8C-D sandwich/salad prep table features a fully enclosed and removable case back, enhancing accessibility for servicing and ensuring long-term reliability. Its 48-inch width and two-section refrigerated base provide ample storage for commercial kitchen operations. A spacious 19-inch-deep, full-length nylon cutting board offers an extended workspace, while the stainless steel top accommodates (8) 1/6-size recessed pans, each 4 inches deep, for organizing frequently used ingredients. The unit also includes four stainless steel roll-out drawers that accommodate one 12-inch by 18-inch by 6-inch pan or a combination of one 1/2-size and one 1/3-size 6-inch pans per drawer (sold seperately).

The Continental SW48N8C-D includes a spring-loaded, self-closing insulated lid to help retain cold air and preserve ingredient freshness. Its 2-inch non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation further reduces energy consumption by maintaining consistent internal temperatures. A unique airflow distribution system keeps pan products at temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. The rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for efficient cooling. Additional features, including an off-cycle defrost system to prevent ice buildup and a removable interior tub beneath the pans for cleaning, streamline maintenance. The unit's 5-inch casters and front-breathing design support convenient placement in compact kitchen spaces.
