It can be positioned beside preparation tables to streamline assembly processes. The unit can produce cold temperatures ranging from 0 to -5 degrees Fahrenheit with a maximum low of -10 degrees. To reach such temperatures, the unit uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant.

The exterior of the Continental 2FESNSA reach-in refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel, while the interior is made of aluminum. Both metals are durable, resistant to corrosion, and easy to maintain. The digital controller operates the unit. The compressor is top-mounted to prevent hot exhaust from entering the cabinet and for easy access.
