The unit operates using an electronic controller with a digital display, while the unit can be set between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit. If the cabinet reaches undesired temperature, an alarm sounds to notify operators.

The full Continental 2FNSS reach-in freezer is made of stainless steel for durability and features polyurethane foam insulation that locks in cold air. Affixed to the front are two full-height solid doors equipped with a polished chrome handle. This unit uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant to cool the unit; the two-speed fan circulates the frigid air throughout the unit. For mobility as needed, the cabinet sits on four casters.
