With stainless steel front panels, aluminum end panels, and an aluminum interior, the Continental D1FESN one-section reach-in freezer is resistant to corrosion and durable for heavy use. The freezer door is hinged with a stay-open design at a 90-degree angle, enabling operators to stock or clean the cabinet; when the door opened to a lesser angle, it will self-close. Its solid design, combined with the foamed-in polyurethane insulation, seals in the internal cold air with its magnetic gaskets. The 18-cubic-foot interior features epoxy-coated shelves and LED lighting.

The Continental D1FESN freezer has a self-contained refrigeration system for convenient servicing and an electronic controller that aids in monitoring internal temperatures. Operators can adjust the temperature between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit, which is maintained with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant and CFC-free polyurethane insulation. For a frost-free operation, this unit includes an electric defrost, and the hot gas condensate evaporator works automatically.
