To protect against corrosion, the True TS-43F-HC reach-in freezer has an aluminum back and stainless steel front and sides, while the two doors are also made of stainless steel and have recessed handles that ease opening. Gaskets around the door openings prevent cold air leakage, and interior is constructed of stainless steel to simplify cleaning. Its six shelves are adjustable to hold a variety of product sizes, and food is visible in the cabinet with LED interior lights.

The evaporator is coated in epoxy to resist corrosion, and the condenser coils defrost automatically to reduce frost buildup. Both the condenser and evaporator fan motors move an even amount of air while producing little heat, and these internal components can be accessed without a stool or ladder since the condensing unit is mounted on the bottom. A temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit is maintained by the True TS-43F-HC two-section freezer, and that temperature can be monitored using the external digital display.

Designed to blow dust, dirt, and debris off the condenser coil, the fan motor in this unit runs in its reverse mode for 20 seconds when it turns on. Keeping this coil clean promotes efficient operation, reduces energy consumption, and maintains cold, consistent storage temperatures. Despite the numerous benefits of this self-cleaning provides the system, it doesn't eliminate the need for routine preventative maintenance.
