The Continental 1RNSAGD single-section refrigerator features a full-height glass door so cooks and chefs can view the contents, decide what they need, and take items without having to stand with the door open. The triple pane glass doesn't let much cold air out, but it still isn't as insulated as solid options. This door has a self-closing mechanism so it closes on its own at certain angles to help prevent food spoiling. The unit is mounted on four 5-inch casters for mobility as needed.

Maintenance of the Continental 1RNSAGD reach-in refrigerator is easier with the top-mounted compressor than with bottom-mounted versions as it is set away from dirt and debris. It also helps prevent heat from becoming trapped inside the unit and affecting the recovery time. The unit has 20 cubic feet of space inside and includes four heavy-duty, epoxy-coated shelves for convenience.
