This space is fitted with nine epoxy-coated shelves and is illuminated with LED lighting. These, combined with the triple-paned glass doors provide a view of the interior for quick identification without having to hold the door open. The doors are full height, have polished chrome handles, and can be locked to prevent theft.

To set desired the temperature, operators must use the Continental 3RENSSGD extra-wide refrigerator's digital controller. The top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system relies on R290 refrigerant to reach desired temperature; if drastic fluctuation occurs, an alarm will sound until addressed through the controller. The automatic condensate evaporator reduces humidity while the off-cycle defrost prevents water from solidifying.
