The Continental D1FESNSAHD extra-wide freezer from the Designer line features an electronic controller with a digital display; the operating temperature can be selected between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system uses environmentally safe R290 refrigerant. To reduce humidity within the unit and prevent ice development, the condensate evaporator and defrost system function automatically.

For durability, the Continental D1FESNSAHD reach-in freezer is constructed with a stainless steel exterior and an aluminum interior; both metals are resistant to corrosion and withstand heavy use. The cabinet's front is fitted with two half-height, solid doors that self-close to reduce recovery time; these doors can be locked to prevent theft. The interior spans 18 cubic feet and has four adjustable, epoxy-coated steel shelves.
