The Continental D1FN one-section reach-in freezer's front panels are made of stainless steel for durability, and the end panels and interior are made of easy-to-clean aluminum for resistance to corrosion. This unit offers 21 cubic feet of interior space with three heavy-duty, epoxy-coated steel shelves. To keep the stored contents visible, the freezer's interior has LED lighting. To keep cold air inside, the solid door closes by itself, and the right-hinged configuration is reversible in field. For smooth loading and unloading, this door will stay open at a 90-degree angle.

To ensure ideal temperatures are maintained, the Continental D1FN freezer features an electronic controller with a monitor system consisting of an external temperature readout and high/low alarm. The refrigeration system is self-contained and uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to hold temperatures between 0 and -10 degrees Fahrenheit. To reduce labor and streamline performance, this unit includes an automatic defrost and hot gas condensate evaporator.
