The Continental D1FXSNHD reach-in freezer features a durable build consisting of a stainless steel front and aluminum sides and interior; both metals resist corrosion and have 3 inches of polyurethane foam between the paneling. To break the cabinet into manageable segments, the front of the unit is fitted with two half-height, solid, self-closing doors to secure cold conditions and reduce recovery time. To prevent theft, each door can be locked. The interior spans 32 cubic feet and has three epoxy-coated shelves.

The Continental D1FXSNHD extra-wide freezer's self-contained refrigeration is top mounted away from floor debris. The unit utilizes R290 refrigerant, an environmentally safe and efficient alternative to traditional refrigerants. Staff can set the desired operating temperature between -10 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. To enable air to circulate underneath and behind the cabinet, it stands on four 6-inch legs.
