From the Designer Line series, the Continental D1FXSNSS one-section reach-in freezer features an extra-wide build with a full stainless steel construction; this enables the cabinet to withstand heavy use in commercial settings, as it is highly durable and resistant to corrosion. Between the paneling is non-CFC polyurethane foam insulation that works with the solid door to help maintain cold conditions. To enable air to circulate below and around the cabinet, it stands of four 6-inch legs.

The Continental D1FXSNSS extra-wide freezer's top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system is positioned away from the debris of the floor. This system uses R290 refrigerant, an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. Users can set the desired operating temperature between -10 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit through the electronic controller. The condensate evaporator functions automatically to reduce humidity within the cabinet, while the automatic defrost system prevents ice from developing on vital components.
