The Continental D2FSNSAHD reach-in freezer's self-contained refrigeration system cools with R-290 hydrocarbon coolant. The electronic controller has an adjustable range from 0 to -10 degrees; this controller is equipped with a digital display and a high/low audible alarm for real-time feedback. The refrigeration system's off-cycle defrost will heat the coils for preventative maintenance, and the condensate evaporator will reduce excess moisture.

The Continental D2FSNSAHD two-section reach-in freezer's 32-cubic-foot space holds six heavy-duty, epoxy-coated shelves and feature pilaster strips for support. The unit has four solid doors with snap-in gasket for a tight seal, promoting temperature keeping. Its exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior is made of aluminum for a long lifespan. It's elevated on 6-inch legs to provide space underneath for cleaning.
