The Continental D2REN two-section reach-in refrigerator has a 52-cubic-foot space outfitted to hold six epoxy-coated shelves. The interior and side panels are made of aluminum, while the exterior is made of durable stainless steel. Its 3-inch, non-CFC foam insulates the compartment, and the unit features two self-closing doors featuring Santoprene® snap-in gaskets designed to help create an airtight seal.

The Continental D2REN reach-in refrigerator cools with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The unit's defrost system helps reduce frost to keep operating conditions optimal, and the condensate evaporator eliminates excess moisture. Temperatures are adjusted via the electronic controller; its high/low alarm sounds if the unit has fallen out of the preset range.
