From the Designer Line series, the Continental D2RENSAGD two-section refrigerator utilizes a self-contained refrigeration system mounted on the cabinet, which keeps it away from floor debris and helps maximize interior space. This system uses R290 refrigeranta'¬a€an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. Staff must access the electronic controller to set the desired holding temperature, and if the unit experiences drastic shifts in temperature, an alarm sounds until addressed.

Built to endure heavy commercial use, the Continental D2RENSAGD reach-in refrigerator is made with a stainless steel exterior and aluminum interior. Two full-height glass doors adorn the front; these are designed to self-close to reduce recovery time and can be locked to prevent theft. To provide a clear view of the items being held, the interior is illuminated with LED lighting.
