The Continental D2RNSAHD two-section refrigerator has a height of 83¹/₄ inches and is constructed with four half-height doors. It features a 50-cubic-foot capacity and six epoxy-coated shelves supported by pilaster strips. The interior is insulated with thick polyurethane to keep heat out and maintain consistent internal temperatures. Because the exterior is made of stainless steel and the interior is made of aluminum, the unit is dent and corrosion resistant. This refrigerator stays level on 6-inch stainless steel legs that facilitate cleaning around and underneath the unit.

The Continental D2RNSAHD reach-in refrigerator's self-contained system is top mounted away from the food zone and uses an R-290 expansion valve system that's operated with the temperature controls. The off-cycle defrost combats frost and ice, and the condensate evaporator reduces accumulated moisture. Monitoring the unit's conditions are simple because of the digital display and high/low temperature alarm.
