With a top-mounted compressor, the Continental D2RNSAPTHD pass-thru refrigerator keeps integral mechanisms away from any dirt or debris on the ground. The pass-thru design provides access to the cabinet from both sides, making it ideal for center placement in a kitchen area. The exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior is constructed of aluminum to provide durability and resistance to corrosion. Each side of the unit is fitted with four half-height solid steel doors which self-close to help maintain safe temperatures during heavy use. Each door is fitted with a polished chrome handle and a cylinder lock to provide security.

The interior of the Continental D2RNSAPTHD pass-thru refrigerator offers 50 cubic feet of space and is equipped with 6 epoxy-coated steel shelves that can be adjusted using the pilaster strips to facilitate optimal item organization. To provide a tight seal, each door is fitted with Santoprene® magnetic snap-in door gaskets and cylinder locks that protect inventory from theft or tampering. To maintain a temperature holding range between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, this refrigerator is fitted with 3 inches of polyurethane insulation and relies on eco-friendly R290 refrigerant.
