To ensure a long service life, the Continental D2RSNSAGD reach-in, shallow-depth refrigerator has a dent-, corrosion-, and rust-resistant stainless steel exterior with a durable aluminum interior. This unit has two sections accessed through two hinged solid steel doors, which have cylinder locks for enhanced security. To help maintain set temperatures during frequent use, the doors have a self-closing design and magnetic snap-in door gaskets, which provide a tight seal. To illuminate inventory for quick retrieval, the interior is fitted with LED lighting.

For precise temperature setting, the Continental D2RSNSAGD reach-in refrigerator is operated using the electronic controller and digital temperature display. With these controls, operators can program temperatures between 38 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and if the cabinet suddenly veers from the set temperature, an alarm sounds to alert staff. To help maintain cool conditions, this unit has 3 inches of polyurethane foam installed between its metal paneling to insulate the cabinet.
