The True STA2R-2S-HC two-section reach-in refrigerator has six wire shelves that hold products. With chrome plating, the shelves are heavy duty, and the wire design encourages airflow that keeps stored items evenly cooled. Foamed-in-place insulation and the heavy-duty interior construction provide durability to support heavy use. Along with the easy-to-clean stainless steel floor and ceiling, the aluminum side walls and back provide strength. Loading product into the cabinet is simple with the stay-open doors that self-close at less than 120 degrees to retain cold air.

In the True STA2R-2S-HC two-section reach-in refrigerator, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant is used to keep temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. This refrigerant type is more eco-friendly than traditional options. An electronic controller facilitates changing the temperature, and the exterior display shows the reading in Fahrenheit or Celsius. A consistent amount of air is moved by the evaporator and condenser fan motors, properly cooling the refrigerator interior without using too much energy or producing a lot of heat. Since the system is top mounted, the components are kept out of the food zone to maximize storage space.

The condensing coil is kept clean using a reverse condensing fan motor, ensuring the unit operates effectively using a reduced energy amount. This feature operates by reversing direction for 20 seconds each time the compressor cycles on. Along with routine maintenance, this automatic mechanism increases the unit's lifespan.
