The True STG1R-2HS-HC SPEC SERIES® single-section reach-in refrigerator has a capillary tube system that meters R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, keeping steady temperatures in the unit. Its top-mount refrigeration system is controlled electronically and has a digital temperature display on the exterior. To maximize capacity, the evaporator is located outside the food zone, while the unit holds a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation traps cold air in the cabinet.

Engineered with reversing technology, the compressor reverses for 20 seconds when it starts up to eliminate debris, dirt, and dust buildup from the condenser coil. This unique mechanism reduces energy consumption and keeps storage temperatures as consistent and cold as possible. This reversing technology improves refrigeration system efficiency and lengthens the lifespan of the unit, but it doesn't eliminate routine preventative maintenance recommendations.

The True STG1R-2HS-HC single-section reach-in refrigerator's front and half-doors are constructed of durable stainless steel, matching the aluminum finish on the sides. With a stainless steel ceiling and floor, the interior consists of aluminum side walls and back, and half-doors stay open at a 120-degree angle for loading product. Bolt-style door locks prevent theft, and LED lighting in the interior illuminates products. Castors with brakes on the front provide mobility.
