To provide mobility, the True STR2R-4HS-HC two-section refrigerator is positioned on 5-inch castors. The condenser is mounted on the top away from dust and debris from the floor and is self-contained to streamline installation. An environmentally friendly unit, it cools with natural R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, while digital controls enable adjustment of the temperature from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To help employees locate product, the cabinet has bright LED lights.

At the end of the night, the True STR2R-4HS-HC reach-in refrigerator has locks on the doors to prevent tampering and theft. For loading, the doors stay open 120 degrees, and they self-close if an employee walks away and forgets. To retain cold air, the doors are sealed shut with magnetic gaskets. Polyurethane insulation helps save energy, and the unit is made of durable stainless steel. The compressor's fan motor blows off dust, dirt, and debris automatically upon start up by reversing its direction for 20 seconds. By removing built-up debris, a condensing coil can operate more efficiently and longer. However, this mechanism should not replace general preventative maintenance.
