When operators open the door, LED lighting automatically illuminates the interior of the Continental Refrigeration 1REN one-section reach-in refrigerator. Resisting dents and dings, its front is constructed of durable stainless steel that can be wiped clean, and three shelves are included to house ingredients. Natural R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant runs through the self-contained refrigeration system, and it comes equipped with an electric and automatic condensate evaporator for simplicity. After the door closes, the expansion valve speeds up refrigerant flow, quickly restoring cold holding temperatures. To help prevent the loss of cold air and large temperature changes, its door self-closes. Operators can remove the snap-in magnetic door gasket for cleaning, and the epoxy-coated steel shelves are designed to resist corrosion. For loss prevention, the unit can be locked, and because it is mounted on 5-inch casters, users can move the refrigerator around the kitchen.
