The Continental 1RENSAGD extra-wide reach-in refrigerator features a full-sized glass door designed to allow staff to view items before opening it, helping to limit the amount of time the door has to be open. The door self-closes after a certain point and seals closed via magnetic gaskets. Additionally, the unit is built with four external walls of stainless steel and an interior aluminum. Both metals are corrosion resistant and withstand heavy use; polyurethane foam insulation between the metal panels keeps the cold air in the cabinet.

The Continental 1RENSAGD reach-in refrigerator's compressor is mounted on top. This position reduces heat exposure inside the unit€”lengthening the recovery time€”and prevents dirt and debris buildup. The unit measures 28¹/₂ inches wide by 35³/₈ inches deep by 82¹/₄ inches high and sits atop four 5-inch casters for mobility.
