The solid half doors add to the insulating properties of the unit via thickness, lack of window, locking mechanism, and magnetic seal. To reduce cold air loss during product stocking and retrieval, the half-door design breaks the cabinet into smaller areas.

The Continental 1RENSAHD extra-wide refrigerator features a top-mounted compressor, off-cycle defrost, and high-low alarm all controlled digitally on the electronic display. The top-mounted refrigeration maximizes cabinet space, keeps integral components away from debris on the ground, and works well in a variety of kitchen types. The unit runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant€”an environmentally friendly alternative to more traditional options€”and sits on 5-inch casters.
